NFL 2022 schedule released: Full Packers schedule appears to have leaked along with Christmas games

The 2022 NFL schedule won’t be released until 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, but Packers fans may not have to wait until then to see Green Bay’s schedule and that’s because more than the half seems to have leaked.

There are always some schedule leaks on Thursday, but the Packers couldn’t even wait that long when they came out Wednesday night.

Of the 17 games the Packers will play this year, it looks like 10 of them have already been leaked thanks to Athletic and Sports Illustrated. Not only was the entire Packers home schedule leaked, but one big road game was also leaked: a Christmas matchup against the Dolphins.

Here’s a look at the games on the Packers’ schedule that have leaked (through Atletico):

Week 2: Bears at Packers (Sunday night)
Week 4: Patriots at Packers (Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET)
Week 5: Giants vs. Packers in London (Sunday at 9:30 am ET)
Week 6: Jets at Packers (Sunday at 1 pm ET)
Week 10: Cowboys at Packers (Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET)
Week 11: Titans at Packers (Thursday nights)
Week 15: Rams at Packers (Monday nights)
Week 16: Packers at Dolphins (Christmas at 1 p.m. ET)
Week 17: Vikings at Packers (Sunday)
Week 18: Lions at Packers (Sunday)

Two of those games, Week 5 against the Giants and Week 10 against the Cowboys, have already been announced by the NFL, so we know they’re correct. Of the other eight games, there are two extremely fascinating nuggets if all of these leaks are correct.

For one thing, it appears the Packers have decided NOT to take a break after their trip to London. Most teams prefer to have their bye after traveling to England, but teams can request to have it at some other point in the season, which is apparently what the Packers have decided to do here.

The other notable part of his schedule is the fact that the Packers are scheduled to play on Christmas for the second year in a row. Last season, the Packers beat the Browns 24-22 in a game that drew 28.6 million viewers, making it the third most-watched regular season game of 2021.

This year, the NFL will hold a Christmas tripleheader for the first time. We know for a fact that the Broncos will play the Rams in the 4:30 pm ET game because CBS announced it this week. The Packers would be playing in the early game with a start time of 1 pm ET.

the prime time game could also have leaked with the buccaneers playing the cardinals in arizona. If those two leaks are correct, that means Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray and the reigning Super Bowl champion Rams will play on Christmas.

That said, keep in mind that nothing is official until the NFL or the team announces it.
