Skyrim has a lot of graphical mods, usually for creatures and monsters, but Wolves of Skyrim is a bit different as it focuses mainly on making these big angry dogs fluffy. Sadly, you can’t pet the animals, but you can stare at them in amazement at their fluff.
Posted by Hornophobic, this mod not only makes them “fluffier than ever” but also thicker and bigger, making them look a bit more like Doge. They are more cuddly and cute, so if you download it, good luck killing them. If I were you, I’d run past the lot and let them live their lives. Push the push, a city guard will take the emotional bullet for you.
Inspired by the Bears of the North and True Wolves mod from Legendary Edition, this mod completely overhauls all the different types in the game. There’s no one glove that fits all here – there’s a wide range of colours, weights and fluff levels, making your encounters with these cute dogs all the more harrowing.
If you want to download it, all you need to do is install it with the mod manager of your choice and overwrite all other files. That should be compatible with everything if you make sure to overwrite other mods, even Fluffworks. And if you’re worried about consistency, Hornophobic is working on patches for SIC, Animallica, and Carry Your Carcasses.
If you like their designs, Hornophobic also has mods that overhaul deer, mountain lions, squirrels, and Thalmor, making them all healthier and more Disney-esque. You wouldn’t want to be the one who shot Bambi, huh? But maybe you’re the idiot who cut her with a ball of fire.
In other Skyrim news, a fan went the extra mile and created a video showing what the game would look like redone from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, featuring an in-depth look at Riverwood and the surrounding area, including the burned one. watchtower outside of Skyrim that we ventured to in the midst of a dragon attack.
