Nintendo reveals that the new player character Shez from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will have a unique playable class in the game.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes It seems to be one of the most anticipated yet unexpected releases from Nintendo this year. This game surprised many, since it is not only a continuation of the one from 2017 fire emblem warriors but it is also set in an alternate timeline of 2019 Fire Emblem: Three Houses. More importantly, it introduces the three leaders of the game’s titular house in a new adventure without Byleth, the professor, and the playable avatar character of three houses.
One of the recent trailers for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes he points out that instead of Byleth becoming a professor at the Garreg Mach monastery, they remain mercenaries like at the start of the game. In his place, a new purple-haired player character known as “Shez” will take the reins as the game’s protagonist. They were defeated by Byleth who has been dubbed “The Ashen Demon” with Shez training and swearing revenge against them. This defeat against Byleth in the forest also leads Shez to meet the three leaders of the house.
With the role of Shez as the protagonist, they will have their own unique class that they start with. In a tweet on Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account, he highlights the details of this new class in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. According to Twitter user SatsumaFS, this class is exclusive to Shez and is known as Flugel. He specializes in using fast and swift attacks, using a dual-wielding sword style.
This class is similar to fire emblem‘s Thief Class, which specializes in fast movement around the battlefield and high-speed attacks. Shez is also described as having a hidden power, just like Byleth and others fire emblem protagonists It is possible that this new power is related to the other newly introduced character, Arval, although the tweet indicates that more details will be shown later.
The Twitter account also revealed the voice actors for the male and female versions of Shez, Tasuku Hatanaka (Yuma Tsukumo from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXALGorou of Genshin Impact) and Miyu Tomita (Riko from made in abyss, Miko Iino from Kaguya-sama: Love is war). Players can also select between male and female versions of Shez and Byleth at the start of the game, meaning neither character is locked by gender. The player will also be forced to align with one of the three houses right at the start of the game, this choice being the branching point of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes‘ history.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes launches for Nintendo Switch on June 24.
